How Can You Find Good Products To Sell?

Having a successful online business is your goal, but this can only occur if your business continues to make sales regularly.

The only way this can occur, however, is if visitors to your website are willing to purchase your product offers.

Obviously, people will only purchase product offers that appeal to them, and specifically, address a problem that they are facing.

Therefore, not all product offers will intrigue them, so how can you determine what product offers will appease them and make them want to buy your offers?

This will involve researching and finding out exactly what your customers want.

What they want will be based upon what type of problems they are currently facing and what type of solution they want to that problem, a solution that is either not available or is unknown of being available online at the present time.

This product offer can be in the form of an ebook, report, software program, or script. If you can find or produce a product offer that will address their problems, you will very likely make many easy sales of that offer to them.

How to Find Product Offers That Interest Your Customers

There are several different ways to find out what product offers would interest your website visitors, subscribers, and previous customers, including the following two methods:

  • Email questions to your subscriber and customer lists and ask them specifically what problems they are currently facing, what solutions currently exist, what problems these solutions have, and what they would like to see developed in a future product offer that addresses that problem.
  • Go to forums and message boards that are related to your target market and/or topic of interest and read through the various message threads to get an idea of what problems they are currently dealing with, what positive and negative benefits current solutions have, and what features and benefits they would like to see in a future product offer that can successfully deal with their problem.

Make Use of Your Subscriber Lists

If you have subscriber and/or customer lists, you should make use of them – after all, they gave you their contact information and/or even made a purchase from you, so they have given some trust to you.

As a result, they will likely be willing to provide you with information on what they are seeking in the marketplace that will lead to them making a purchase.

Go to Forums and Message Boards

Plus, by going to forums and message boards where members of your target market visit regularly, you can learn a great deal from reading through their messages as to what they are seeking to solve current problems they are facing.

It is not necessary to post replies or to start a new message thread; just read and evaluate what is already there to gain the information you need to develop or find an enticing product offer.

Find Right Product Offers

You have two choices to go about discovering a product offer that will meet your target market’s wants:

  • Finding a product offer that is already present in the marketplace, but that is not well known to be an effective solution to the problems experienced by your target market.
  • Creating a product offer that can be an effective solution to the current problems of your target market.

Choice Option 1

Option 1 is a great choice for affiliate marketers, since you don’t have to take the time and money to create your own product offer to appease your target market; instead, you just have to do some research through some marketplaces, like the ClickBank Marketplace, and see if there are any quality product offers already in the marketplcae that will meet your target market’s needs.

Choice Option 2

Option 2 is a great choice for those who do not do much affiliate marketing.

Though you will need to spend the time and money on making your own product to meet the needs and wants of your target market, you will be able to advertise it as your own product, which will boost your own reputation for delivering quality solutions, plus you will keep all of the profits from each sale, which you cannot do if you are only selling someone else’s products as an affiliate.

Develop Your Own Product Offers

Utilizing the research you’ve done on what your target market is looking for, find or create a product offer that will solve their problem. Make sure that the product you are advertising or developing solves the problems brought up by the target market as compared to the current solutions already in the marketplace.

If you do this, your product offer will be seen as a superior offer and be the preferred choice when compared to current product offers, which will lead to plenty of easy sales of that product offer.

You need to keep in mind when developing your own product that you take the time and money necessary to create a superior product that will address all of your target market’s needs and wants; don’t be willing to skip corners just to deliver the product out quicker, as a subpar product will not produce many sales and will lead to you getting a poor reputation as an Internet marketer, thereby hurting your ability to produce sales on your future product offers.

Don’t think though that the product has to be perfect with no flaws when it is first completed; send out some complimentary copies to associates, friends, joint venture partners, and even some of your best affiliates and customers to get their feedback on what is good about this version of the product and what needs to be improved upon so that the final version of the product you release is so much better than any solution currently out there that producing sales for your product will be relatively easy and profitable.

Solve Your Target Market's Wants is Vital to Be Successful

The main key to having a successful business is to find and/or develop enticing product offers that solve the needs and wants of your target market.

This means that you must discover exactly what the needs and wants of your target market are first before discovering or producing that product offer, which you can do by asking your subscribers, customers, and website visitors questions via email, as well as by visiting and reading related message boards and forums.

By determining precisely what your target market is searching for, you will more easily find or create an enticing product offer that will lead to many easy sales, greater profits, and an increased reputation on the Internet.
